There are few experiences I can say about my travel explorations that have really stayed with me in vivid detail. This one surprised me. Honestly, I was not excited about a cruise to another snow and ice covered land. After many cruise seasons as staff and CD on cruise ships in Alaska, I figured I was in serious ice, snow and cold overdose.
It was amazing. Jaded as I thought I may be, I grudgingly headed off to the south. I'm not sure I can adequately put into words to describe the experience. Suffice to say, I got way more then I bargained for.
